yKnot x TBP
yKnot is a purpose-driven brand born under The Bandhan Project (TBP), a social impact initiative designed to motivate people to work towards their impact journey. TBP works through two key formats—TBP Events, which bring people together for impact-led campaigns and volunteer drives, and TBP Products, which enable change through community-led businesses.
yKnot is a part of the TBP Products vertical, created for those who may not participate in events but still want to contribute to real impact. Every yKnot product is handcrafted by rural women artisans, and each purchase directly supports livelihoods, skills, and long-term empowerment.
When you choose yKnot, you’re not just buying a lifestyle product—you’re taking part in TBP’s larger mission of being the change (Tatparivartanam Bhava) and creating impact in every way possible.

Friendship. Purpose. Life. That`s our motto at Bandhan.
Friendship
The last 3 months have been a great learning experience for us, in our pursuit to build a dream world for our community. The success of our first event `1 Smile = 1 Meal` not only gave us more confidence in the community`s will to do good, but also helped strangers become friends.
Purpose
As part of our second event `1 Gratitude = 5 meals`, we aimed to go a step further to instill the passion for purpose in strangers. Offline, we asked people to volunteer with two simple tasks (1) play games we organized and (2) thank at least 1 person who has impacted their life at some point.
Life
What does it really take to impact another life? 1 expression of gratitude.
And so, we are reaching out to you, committing to donate 5 meals on your behalf if you do any one of the following -
1. Share this post on your story. Tag at least one person you would like to thank. And don`t forget to tag us to make it count 😛
OR
2. Send the person you want to thank a text and DM us a screenshot. We won`t share it on our story but your gratitude stills counts as 5 meals. 🤗
OR
3. If you are hesitant to share details, then just DM us the name of the person you want to thank and how you would do it. That`s still 5 meals 😁
We aim to donate 200 meals this weekend. We have already collected responses offline at Shivaji Park, help us fill the gap.
If we cross 200 meals, we will also support with the education of 1 orphan child for 1 academic year.
If you look around, impact is very simple to do.
All you have to do is take the first step.

The Bandhan Project
28.
28 is the number of people who first followed us here, with just pure trust, not knowing what we are really doing. Just shows the trust the community has, when you choose to build something insanely ambitious.
This project is an attempt to build a large community who strives to achieve great things for themselves, lives to build & preserve connections that they make and strives to impact a larger circle of people.
A community of changemakers that focuses on building sustainable, scalable initiatives led by and for local communities.
Bandhan is not just our project, but an extension of every core member that wishes to commit their time to build it. Hence we want our first initiative to be community-driven and solve problems that truly solve the pain-points discovered by our core members. We`ll come to our iniatives later, but let`s get together first...
After my experience at organisations like U&I, AIESEC, LEO, and other religious/spiritually driven non profits, I realised the larger potential of VOLUNTEERING. So, in Phase 1 of our activities, we want to convey the importance of volunteering and how it can truly transform the volunteer`s and the impacted community`s lives.
As we start the Phase 1 of this journey of building the Bandhan ecosystem, here are 3 core pillars of what we are.
Bandhan Connect.
Life`s most beautiful moments are captured when you connect with like-minded insanely passionate people. The most difficult part is to preserve those connections.
Some events of life create a deep void in us like canon shots. They can only be filled by love from friends, family and our community. Once you lose people, they are gone forever. Life doesn`t give us second chances. Bandhan Connect is just an attempt in the pursuit of discovering life`s strongest connections with people, embracing the difficulties faced and transforming the connection to be stronger that ever before. Building Relations that never break and help you create a greater impact in this world, together. The strongest relations are built with the smallest of gestures.
"Just Maintaining Relations turned to Preserving and Nuturing Relations"
